Tenor Clef Study Sheet

I am unable to insert the related graphic.  The entire worksheet in PDF format can be found at the bottom of this page.
What is tenor clef?  The tenor clef is used by bass clef instruments to make it easier to read higher notes.  It is also called the C clef.  Where the center of the clef lands on the 4th line of the staff is C.
Tenor clef is a fifth above bass clef.  There are several methods to figure out tenor clef:

If you read bass clef only:
You can easily use your hand to find the name of the note in tenor clef.  Name what the note is in bass clef and count that as number 1.  Using your fingers, count up one note until you reach 5.  The 5th note is the note you will play.
Example:   If a note would be an A in bass clef, count A, B, C, D,  the 5th note is E.
If you also read treble clef:
The note would be one down from what it would appear in treble clef.  Remember that even if you use this method, the note is the next higher octave.
Example:   If a note would be an A in treble clef.  Go down one note and it is a G..
Use the names of the lines and spaces:
Figure out a rhyme for the lines and spaces that you can remember.
For instance:  Lines: Dogs Fight All Cats Equally.  Spaces: Elvis’ Guitar Broke Down.
In fact the bassoon goes so high, that the highest notes are very often written in treble clef.
Most school bassoons are not able to go above Eb4.  If they have a high E key, they will be able to play the entire range.
