Bassoon Summer Camp
|
10:00am - 3:00pm Tuesday, June 14, 21, 28 & July 12. We are unable to meet on July 5 due to campus closure for that week.
I am very excited to again be able to start our bassoon camp. It will be fun to have my students together for a summer of learning. This camp is open to all bassoon students of all ability levels. We will make reeds and learn the art of adjustments. We will play ensembles of varying levels so everyone will have fun participating. We will learn the important tenor clef, which is used for high notes and the All State Etudes that everyone 9th grade and up will be playing from July - December. We will get into more difficult materials, but that will be scheduled for the last part of the day. I encourage younger students to stay and observe, or they are free to leave early.
